Tesco wanted to spark talkability in a crowded market, Meanwhile, Prezola, the UK’s leading wedding list platform, aimed to reach new audiences and showcase its modern gifting approach.
We brought these two leading brands together to create the Tesco Wedding Gift Registry. Hitting the headlines as the first supermarket to ever offer a wedding gift service, this genius partnership reimagined the wedding space for the modern couple whilst increasing share of voice and repositioning both brands as champions of value and real-life practicality.
Talk about a gift of a partnership…we swapped crystal glasses and cutlery for bundles of everyday essentials and little luxuries. From a year’s supply of toilet roll to six months of tea and biscuits, the packages solved real household gripes and fuelled debate around romance versus practicality.
With support from Married at First Sight expert Mel Schilling, the campaign captured mass attention. Morning shows debated it, nationals covered it, and international outlets picked it up.
The partnership positioned Tesco as a brand that shows up at life’s big moments. And Prezola? It grew brand awareness in a new, mass market space.
